Skewer; Limerick silver by Patrick Connell c 1790. Bright cut ornament around finger hole on both sides, extending round neck and down the shaft to just over half the total length; on both sides terminating in three arrow shapes. At the neck on either side are curved sausage shapes with an "eye" at the upper end. One side bears two stamps, one reading "STE" the other "P.C". both in oval frames. The other side is engraved "RCL" within a bright cut oval, set just below the neck.
