Framed certificate. Printed certificate with manuscript additions. Printed on white paper, with a central pale-green field surrounded by a decorative black border, with circular bosses at the corners. Under the crest of the Carpenters Company the text reads; "Certificate of the Worshipful Company of Carpenters of London, Given at Carpenters' Hall, London Wall, London, the first day of June 1910. This is to certify that the Company have awarded their prize of two pounds and this certificate to John Cronin, 29 Wolfe Tone Street, Limerick for Exhibit of Carved Picture Frame", signed " Chas. B. Bartlett Master, J. Hutton Freeman Clerk". Printers name under the printed frame. Dark stained frame, with certificate held in place with board made of cut down advert, showing a girl at a Eureka gas-stove stirring one of several pans, with the inscription "Cheap T.." Board held in place with panel pins. Rings for hanging on either side and piece of modern orange plastic twine between.
