A boy sits on the cart, and a woman and a girl stand beside the cart, buying milk. Text: A Very Popular Caller in the Days When / Home Baking was Commonplace. Black and yellow; 4:a woman with shawl, headscarf and apron with pocket in front, with a wicker basket on her head which contains fish. A fishing net is on a wall behind her, and on the quayside behind her a man is holding a box beside a woman who is bending over to pick up a basket. Text: The Wives of Local Fishermen Sold their Fish in the Streets, from a Basket Carried on the Head. Black and blue; 5: woman with donkey and cart, on the cart there are bowls and tubs containing shellfish. Text: This Enterprising Lady Hawked her Wares Through the / Streets, Dillisk When Available was Included in the Cry. Black and yellow; 6: man pushing handcart, attached to which are some balloons and small windmills on stick. There are some children beside the cart, one of whom is bringing a bottle and some rags. Text: Balloons or Home Made Windmills Were Exchanged for / Thesr Salvaged Materials. The Rags were Used for / Paper Manufacture and the Bones for Glue.
