Design, for Limerick lace scarf; end design. Pencil on white paper. Largely, but not quite symmetrical about central axis; side border of alternating wave edge ovals and sprigs of foliage; main design a mass of trailing foliage and flowers, main element a pair of large flat headed sunflower like flowers with short stubby petals on a curling stem of a chain of circles with dots at centre; above these is a smaller separate asymmetric trail with two smaller trails to either side; above the main design repeating field of flat flowers with stubby petals set 2, 1, 2, 1 up the design. Inscriptions at edge "long repeat" and "short repeat". On reverse "Scarf restored" in pencil. Framed August 1998 by Chris Doswell, pale wooden frame.
