A one inch grid is laid on the pattern with the squares numbered 1-20 across the bottom and 21-29, with the four corner squares having numbers in both axes. Drawing positioned at left end of a long narrow strip of heavy paper, running to about half way. To left of design, in pencil "2/660 to 1/2yd/ 9/330 to 9 inches/ 36.6", "3-36/ 6-37" and 108/ 222/ 230". On reverse at top end "E".
