Postcard, b/w, matt. O: Lieut Thomas Keane, / (smaller) C. Coy. 2nd Batt. I.R.A., Executed in Limerick, / 4th June, 1921. Portrait style photo, text below, broad white border. Printed in black ink on white card. Photo shows Keane in shirt and tie, 4 - button jacket, trousers. There appear to be two objects displayed on the left front of the jacket, the lower cruciform in shape. Left hand in trouser pocket. Studio background (painted ?), small table to right. Small smudge of black album type material on left edge. R: black album - type material stuck to card. Probably torn out of the album in which it had been kept. Upper right corner, portion of rectangular frame for stamp, printed in green ink. Nothing else visible. No issuer visible. Probably not posted.
