Postcard, b/w, matt. As Gaeilge. Obv: Trans: George Clancy, Mayor of Limerick / Murdered by the British on the 7th of March, 1921 followed by a four line poem also in Irish. Photo in oval, text below, black strips applied to corners of card (1 missing), text below. Printed in black ink on white card. Photo shows Clancy in kilt with sporrran, high socks and brogues, waist belt, brat with heavy celtic brooch on left shoulder. Studio background (painted ?), chaise longue (?) to left rear. Rev: Top, left of centre (caps) Post Card., with underneath (small caps) Address to be written on this side., and, in top right corner, rectangular frame for stamp, all printed in green ink. No issuer. Not posted.
