Name of both with respective logos of Treaty Stone and City Arms with potted plant in front at base of each page. 2 Photos on Jan/ Feb page; picture of sail boat on Shannon "Alzina"/ "Wooden smack built in Jersey 1896 of 20 tons net, It was bought in the early 1920's by John Davis of Labbasheeda who is seen here at the helm. He traded under sail only between Labbasheeda and Limerick up to 1952" and to right another sailboat left aground by tide, "Edgar"/ "Ketch built in Devon in 1905 of 42 tons net. It was brought to Limerick by Goodbody's about the same time as "Alzina" and was sold in 1934 to Wm Meskell. Trading was mainly between Limerick and Askeaton where this photograph was taken in 1951". Even now we have been unable to find out anything of the architect W.
