Spoon, Limerick silver serving spoon by William Ward. Old English pattern with broadly turned over end to handle, All over ornament on handle, bright cut; pointed oval of punched D-shapes, in which an engraved letter G; six pointed sunburst over and below oval; bright cut edging to bowl below lower sunburst. Rounded drop, broad oval bowl. Maker's marks on reverse where it begins to widen from stem, "W W" in a rectangle with clipped corners, struck twice and "STER" without surround, to right.
