Bottle. Clear glass, rectangular cross-section, straight sides, rounded shoulders to short cylindrical neck, flat everted rim; stopper ground glass with disc of lid broken off. Printed label, black on white, damaged but as 054.13; "Physicians' Prescriptions and Family Receipts [carefully]/ prepared with Genuine Drugs./ Powdered Jalap./ Fr[om the Geo]rge's [St]reet [Medical Hall]/ J. O'[Shaug]hne[ss]y, [Proprietor]." Bottle three quarters full of brown and white powder congealed into lumps.
