Print, b/w, framed. "Custom House, Limerick" by W. H. Bartlett. View shows the Custom House, seen from the deck of a ship tied up alongside what is now Sarsfield House; a three masted ship, with seven crew visible, is tied up alongside the Custom House, to left of picture; on the quay is a large wooden crane and several groups of people; on the river are seven rowing boats around the ships; on the deck of the ship from where viewed are two crew members one tending a smoking stove, placed on the deck by the rail. Title at bottom centre, with "W.H. Bartlett" below picture at left and "E.K. Proctr" at right. "Fisher, Son & Co. London 1830", now obscured by mount. Pale grey card mount, rounded gold coloured frame. Hardboard back sealed with brown paper. Framer's sticker on reverse, grey on white, "Chris Doswell/ Picture Framing/ Tel. (061)31 82 92/ 11 St. Joseph St. Limerick". Plates for attachment on either side.
