Photograph: b/w print. Portrait of William Henry O'Sullivan MP by Henry O'Shea, Limerick. The subject, with heavy moustache and long sideburns, hair combed back, is seated, l. knee over r., facing slightly to r., arms on the chair arms, a book in r. hand on thigh, , the first finger holding the book slightly open. Ring on little finger of r. hand. Dressed in lightly coloured trousers, white shirt, dark waistcoat, jacket and tie, with watch chain on waistcoat. Drapes behind l. Mounted on thick white card with mitred gild edges. Card inscribed in impressed gilt lettering bottom l. Henry O'Shea, and r. 117 George Street / Limerick. Inscribed in pencil R/ P. O'Connor / Frame maker / Limerick / June 1893.
