The ornament, beginning at the rim, consists of six encircling ribs around the bowl, and below, on the four faces, a club like motif tapering down the stem terminating in a small boss, the club surrounded by a raised rib. To each side of the club are three bosses arranged longtitudinally with a pair above, a diagonal raised line joining each of the upper pair to the lower encircling rib, and the lowest rib with a short raised line below. The club motif on the stem and front faces are flattened, with a casting seam down the centre. Broken at the stem - bowl junction.
