Clay tobacco pipe made for John Clune, tobacco manufacturer, Limerick, 1898? Long cylindrical bowl at an angle of c. 60 degrees to the stem. No heel. On one side of the bowl in high relief: two hands clasped with inscription above and below Irishmen / Unite. On opposite face: crossed halberds, inscribed above Emmet, and below: 98. Stem broken off near bowl.
