Clay tobacco pipe made for John Clune, tobacco manufacturer, Limerick, c. 1880. Cylindrical, slightly bulbous bowl with flat rim at an angle of c. 20 degrees to the stem, crude groove below rim on stem face. Flat based heel to bowl. Straight stem, mouthpiece missing. Bowl stamped on stem face within oval groove: Land League, a faint shamrock in centre.
