Painting, portrait, framed. Michael Hogan, Bard of Thomond, by Dermod O'Brien. Oil on canvas, after a photograph. Head and shoulders portrait, blue bow tie, moustache-less beard. "D. O'Brien/ 1934" at bottom left. Wide gold painted plaster frame, with two bands of ornament the inner debased C-scroll outer spiral ribbon. Sealed at back with brown paper and masking tape. Eyes for hanging at either side with length of cord between.
