Spoon. Limerick silver tablespoon by Robert O'Shaughnessy, c.1810. Fiddle pattern. Oval bowl with large drop on underside. Slight downturn to end of handle, with a central lobe on the underside. Initials M E M, the E elevated with two vertical dashes below, engraved on upper side of handle. Marks: ROS, the O small and elevated, in square, STERLING, and fleur-de-lis on underside of handle. Similar to 1983.110, but smaller, with a more pronounced shoulder at the junction of the handle and stem, and with smaller engraved initials.
