Adze or axe, stone. Layered grey mudstone? Roughly triangular in shape, tapering from the slightly convex cutting edge to the narrow flat butt. Heavily chipped and subsequently polished. Deeply grooved on one edge, apparently weathered along a weak layer. The cutting edge is steep, slightly chipped, polished from one face. Murroe. Neolithic
