Re: Date of accident 13/4/66. Fee £4/4/0. Patien was driving a car on his own side of the road when a car coming from the opposite direction struck, his car in a head on collision. Following the accident, he was admitted to the Limerick Regional Hospital. Prognosis, injuries sustained were extensive and severe, almost resulting in death. While he is much improved, he is not entirely out of danger as the possibility, although diminishing, of further showers of fat emboli taking place exists. His fractured femur wil take several months to unite and it is too early to give a prognosis on that.
