Document, conveyance. 14th January 1879, between Timothy Rea, farmer, 1st part; Mrs Catherine Rea, wife of Timothy, 2nd part. Miss Mary Rea, daughter of Timothy and Catherine, 3rd part; Patrick Bourke of Aughboy, farmer 4th part; and William Bourke of Aughboy, farmer, father of Patrick, 5th part; re part of lands of Doonass, Co. Clare, called Coolastigue (Coollisteige). Mention of earlier lease of 1854 between Richard Bentley and Timothy Rea, on three lives of Timothy Rea, David his eldest son age c 13 and 2nd son Michael aged c 11. Land to be given to Patrick Bourke on his marriage to Mary Rea, as well as dwelling house; Timothy and wife to receive a pension from Patrick. Signed by parties, John Dundon Solicitor of Limerick, Thomas McMahon, law clerk of Rosbrien, Co. Limerick, witnesses unclear. Written on 5 sheets of blue lined papr with wide ruled margin at left. Held together at top left by a length of knotted parchment through another piece folded over top of pages. Folded in half twice and annotated on outside, marked copy. Rubber stamped at bottom, Robert McNamara/ Solicitor/ Limerick. Paper is inpoor condition, very worn along the folds.
