Brush, hat, wood and bristle. Oval handle,slightly curved head. Handle and head made in three pieces, the bristles are fastened into a light coloured lower part, which is covered with a second piece of darker wood , then a third layer of lighter colour, is restricted to the head area. This upper layer has a stamped inscription, in black, Cannock & Co Limited, Hatters, Limerick. The wood is varnished. There are three rows of bristles; the two outer ones alternate in black and white; the central row is all black
