Lid for Limerick silver saffron pot by Jonathan Buck, c.1740. Disc with flange on the underside and central handle on top. Groove around the upper edge. The handle consists of a waisted base, soldered to the disc, and a wooden bead held by a slightly dome headed bolt through the disc with a square nut on the underside of the lid. No makers mark.
