Photograph, b/w. Posed group; unidentified bishop, flanked by two men in cloaks and bicorn hats; also in picture are three soldiers, a priest and at extreme left Thomas Joseph Gough One of the cloaks has a hint of a cross and so presumably the two men are knights of Malta. The group is standing on the steps of a stone building with portico restiing on on two square and two fluted circular pillars. Mounted on grey card with Egleston Bros / Limerick below photo at right.
