Surrender, ms. Indenture; surrender of lands in St. Francis Abbey held by Simon Kent on 999 year lease (cf. 1997.234-26) by Euphemia Livingstone Ewart, Brown's Hotel, Dover St., London, to Equity Law Life Assurance Society Limited at request of Henry Edmond De Vere Sheaffe Earl of Limerick, dated 1st July 1910. "Which said premises are now known as 10 and 11 and 42 to 46 Athlunkard St., premises in St. Mary's Place, Couthouse Lane and Clancy's lane. Single sheet of parchment folded in half and indenture written on three sides; each side with printed? red margins. Signed on third side by Euphemia, "otherwise Effie L. Ewart" and witnessed by Louden? Dawes and W.P. Thompson both 9 Angel Court, Throgmorton St, London EC.; short length of green tape to right of signature has borne a wax seal which is now absent. Stamp duty embossing at top left of first page in red; 4 lobed circle, "Ten/ Shillings/ [a crown]/ [a shamrock] A/ 12 7 10". Above stamp in pencil "10/- Cl. 1 12/7/ [initials]". "Please put in address" in pencil in right margin by Ewart's address; address itself in second hand. Rubber stamp, blue, with ms additions in left margin; "Registered in the Registry of Deeds, Dublin, at/ [57] minutes after [2] o'clock, on the [25th] day of/ [July] 191[0] Book [65] No. [237]/ W.A. Drennan". At bottom left "109/ compd/ F.C/ W.D."; W.D. in red ink remainder in black. Document folded in half and half and annotated with contents on outside; at bottom "Barrington & Son/ 10 ELy Place/ Dublin" above an oval blur rubber stamp , with ms additions "Registry of Deeds/ Dublin" on outer ring, "[237]/ 25 Jul 1910/ [11/9]" at centre. Faint stamp on other outer side, by cf. with 234-236, giving location in Barrington's Strong room, only "38" and "4b" in pencil legible.
