Report on the siege at Limerick, 2 Sep, starting at bottom of second column and large part of left column on reverse: 25 Aug, march from Caherconlish to Limerick, took Cromwells fort, took new fort; 27th, batterey raised against Thomond Bridge; Castleconnell & Carrigogunnell taken; frigates on river in sight of town; 30th, began playing on town with mortars; expedition to Kerry. Top edge closely cropped to edition number removing first line of text on reverse.
