Postcard, colour glossy, landscape format, white margin around view. Title in margin at centre bottom "O'Connell Street, Limerick City, Ireland". View looking north along the street, with Fine's jewellers at right foreground and the Royal george Hotel in left middle ground; two buses, a VW Beetle and a red van driving towards camera and a blue saloon entering shot from bottom left moving away from camera; tricolour hanging just by Woolworths; pedestrians on both pavements; in foreground by right kerb a man is just starting to cyle a bike with a wicker basket on front. Reverse printed in blue; at centre top a rhomboid containing a large letter C with "Cardall" up the inside of the C, with "Post" to left and "Card" to right of rhomboid; up centre as division "Printed in the Republic of Ireland"; at bottom left of centre "Published by Cardall Ltd. Dublin"; to right of centre, a box for the stamp, over "Address" over five address lines over "290". Neither used nor posted
