Cheque, "The National Bank Limited/ Limerick Branch" with printed account holder's name at centre top "Gordon A Holmes B.C.E/ Solicitor/ 3 Cecil Street"; at left side a shield inside a cartouche design; shield showing a shield with Harp device supported by two leopards? with helm crest; up right side of cartouche "Charles Chambers Limited, Dublin". Printed blue on pale blue, with green 2d stamp duty embossing at right. Cheque No 48, made out in typescript, 29th Oct. 1959, to the City Accountant for £2-2-0d and signed by Holmes in blue. The cheque does not seem to have been cashed.
