Wall in bottom left corner, rocky slope to river, with line of rowing boats anchored beyond. Cottages behind tollhouse on Verdant Place. Extreme right, three quarters of west wall of castle. Courtyard buildings coloured red. Title, brown, top left and right. Insert bottom right corner with conjoined mayoral and city arms, the word Limerick below. R/ printed dark grey, headed "The Milton (bust, 'Trade mark' above, 'Milton' below) Post Card", short double underline and vertical divide, headings left "For communication this space / may be used", right "The address only to be / written here".
