Passport, UK passport No. 2418, made out in the name of Peter Dillon, and issued in NewYork City 2nd December 1921. Passport used by James Scanlon of Galbally, Co. Limerick who took part in the rescue of Sean Hogan at Knocklong Station in May 1919. 32pp in hard cloth cover stamped in gold with the Royal Arms. Contains a photo and signature of "Dillon", and description of him as a clerk from Co. Leitrim.Inside of the front cover are two red and green Consular Service stamps, one for 2s6d the other for 5s; both bearing an image of George V. Stamps cancelled with crcular mark, of "British Consulate General/ New York" Dec 2 1921. Note in pencil on p.32 as to the true identity of the owner
