Map, ink on paper. "Townland/ of/ Coolbreedeen/ [part of]/ County of Limerick", drawn at scale of 18 inches to 1 statute mile, by William Sidney Cox, Mem. Ist. C.E.I, 27th October 1870. Shows fields, two ring-forts, roads, dwellings, water-courses and reclaimed bog with acreages; where it runs up to townland boundary the adjacent townlands names, clockwise from right Clonloughna, Knocknagorteeny, Coolnahilla and Annagh. Handcoloured in lilac, pink, green brown and blue, with a number in each colour; key to colours at top right with tenant 1. Matthew Shinners, 2. James Ryan, 3. James Power, 4. Patrick Deere and 5. Michael Ryan. Ornate North arrow in form of a winged lizard breathing fire. Drawn on one side of a large sheet of cartridge paper, folded in half then in half three times. On outer side ""Coolbrideen" in green pencil.
