Postcard, b/w matt, landscape format. White margin across bottom, title in margin "Castle View House & Church Boundary". View along an empty street which turns abruptly right in middle distance, on the turn a house is visible through trees; at left is the boundary wall with railings between regularly spaced piers, with two larger piers for gate; in foreground left two men stand on pavement next to wall, looking at camera. Reverse printed in red; at centre top "Post Card" in ornate letters, with vertical division line below; to left "This space may be used for Inland/ correspondence."; to right "The Address to be written here". Box for stamp at top right. Unposted and unused. The left and bottom edges have half perforation showing it has been removed from a book of cards.
