Postcard, b/w matt, portrait format; title in bottom left "Wesleyan Chapel, Limerick" (Methodist). View of part of the front of a two storey stone building, with railed garden and gates in front; large double? door on ground floor with fanlight over, round topped windows to either side, large three section window at first floor level over door, with "Wesleyan Chapel" on wall below window; notice on railings advertises the return visit of "Duxbury" for a recital. Reverse printed in black; "post Card" at centre top, with T-shaped division below; to left "This Space, as well as the back, may/ Now be used for communication./ (Post Office Regulation)."; to right "The Address only/ to be written here"; box for stamp at top right in which "Affix/ 1/2d. Stamp/ Inland./ 1d Stamp/ Foreign." No trace of a stamp but letter cancelled twice; late usage of card; circular "Salford/ 9 AM/ 14 Feb/ 1940/ ?NC" (February 14th) and "Post Early/ in/ the/ Day". Address and message dirty and faint, addressed to Mr ? Conalchey??, 18 Balmoral? Ave, Dang??? ?? East Str??, from Nellie?, Salford. Pencil dealer's mark at top right "12 WAF"
