Postcard, colour matt, landscape format. Title at top left of centre; "Water Gate, Bridge, Kilmallock". View looking towards the town, with bridge running across centre of view, R.C. church beyond bridge to left, friary to right. Reverse printed in black "Post Card" at centre top with T shaped division below; "Copyright Gaffney, Kilmallock" up left edge; box for stamp at top right with"Printed in Prussia" up the inside of the left edge. Message that this is bridge on road from Mount Coote, for Alice; not posted. Pencil dealer's marks "Ire" at top left, "JJA" at top centre, "£4.50" in stamp box, and "Limer" at bottom right.
