Fountain pen of Eamonn Ceannt. Bakelite or similar early plastic tube and cap with open-work casing around each, in gold coloured metal; open-work, floral pattern with C-scrolls, runs the length of the cap but for only two thirds of body. Body splits into two with a screw thread below the nib, no reservoir for ink attached to upper part. Nib plain, inscribed "[Wa]rranted/ 4 KT". Open-work of body inscribed "Aine B. E. Ceannt". Contained in a cardboard box marked "Eversharp/ Pens and Pencils" on the lid and "Made in U.S.A. Box B.5" inside lid.
