Account book, manuscript. Expenditure book of the Good Shepherd convent, Clare St., Limerick for period May 1897 to December 1910. Printed red columns on each page, with blue horizontal lines and black headings for columns. Left hand page, headed "Receipts" unused, right hand , headed "Expenditure", used throughout the book. Columns filled out in black ink in several hands. Hard cover, brown cloth bound with black leather spine and corners. Green marbled boards. Label on inside, red on white "O'Connor and Co./ Account-Book Makers,/ Lithographic and letterpress/ Printers,/ 123 George Street, Limerick./ Account Books with Special Rulings/ Printed Forms and of Particulars/ Bindings, Executed to Order.", inside border. First page inscribed in pencil "May 1897 Under thy protection O Immaculate Mother of God!/ St. Joseph help us!"; also "Duplicate" in blue ink.
