Receipt, printed with ms. additions. "[Mr John Ryan/ Newport]/ The Distillery./ Limerick [23rd Feby] 18[80/ Dear Sir]/ I beg to acknowledge the receipt of your favour/ of --- enclosing -- Value [Seven pounds/ thirteen shillings Stg.]/ which amount is placed to your credit with thanks./ Soliciting a continuance of your esteemed commands./ I am your most obedient servant/ Archibald Walker./ (unclear initials)/ {ps}[7.13.0]". Left edge has half perforations down it and a design which continued in part across the perforations; on a background of floral scroll with beaded ovals, a central circle with an "AW" monogram at centre with "Distillery/ Limerick2 around, on arms either side of circle reading up "Archibald/ Walker". On inside edge of design reading up "Nissen & Arnold, London". Watermark incomplete "...inson & Co"
