Label printed in pinkish brown and black, on white; label has large central oval, with leaf motifs in spandrels; on a festoon between the top spandrels and above text is a coat of arms; arms divided in three horizontally, upper field three recumbent crescents, middle field a town/castle gate with flanking towers, lower field a recumbent crescent; feathered helm crest with two greyhound supporters. Bottle has a cork and white plastic topped stopper; top of stopper has, in black, "Whites/ Limerick" and a depiction of a bottle and three glasses; black plastic seal, broken, around stopper. Moulded on bottom of bottle "I G B/ 228L8/ LXII"
