Letter, printed. Form letter from the proprietor of the Limerick Distillery, Archibald Walker, dated Aug. 16th 1876, "to all those whom it may concern" informing them that the business is now being conducted by Mr. W. B. Langwill, Resident Partner; Mr. H. M. Lefroy, late manager is no longer in Distillery's employment; and that the distillery is being repaired but expects to be making in the new season. Folded in half, then twice and addressed on the outside in black ink to Mr. John Ryan, Spirit Dealer, Newport. Watermark on paper "J. Whatman/ 1873". Paper slightly discoloured and a bit missing from the right side around central fold.
