Postcard, b/w, matt; four views around an oval inset, with title "A "Small Irish" from Limerick"; views individually titled. In central oval, a small boy dressed in 18-19th century fashion with a shillelagh over his right shoulder; views clockwise from top left; "O'Connell Street" looking north, from the east side of road from pavement opposite Fine's Jewellers; "Sarsfield Bridge", view from the west bank looking north, with sailing boat moored on west bank, and silhouette of St. Mary's Cathedral behind centre of bridge; "Treaty Stone, King John's Castle and Thomond Bridge" taken from a height, presumably the upper floor window of the pub opposite; "Shannon" view over the docks looking northwards. Reverse printed in grey; at centre top Valentine's with below that two tangential globes on a background of a large letter V, with "Famous/ Throughout/ The World" on three banners across the globes; "Post" to left and "Card" to right of previous; "Valentine's Postcards Copyright." up left edge; to left of central dividing line "For Correspondence" to right "For address only"; rectangular box for stamp at top right, with "Printed in Eire" below bottom edge. Unposted and unused. Dealer's pencil mark at top to right "[pound sign]1.50".
