Printed on reverse in black; at centre top an open book with C on each leaf, superimposed on a shamrock with banner behind, reading "A Cardall", with "Post" to left and "Card" to right of previous; "Published by Cardall Ltd., Dublin" across bottom left; "Printed in the Republic of Ireland"-54" up centre as division; "Address" to left of centre; five lines for address below. Green definitive issue 2 pingin stamp, Eire, with outline map of Ireland under an arch inscribed "Eire", with Celtic interlace on the pillars and shamrocks in the spandrels.
