Postcard, b/w, matt; titled at bottom left,"Albert Road, Kilkee". View along the street from one pavement; on right side of road is a short row of shops set back from the road, while further up street, running to the cross road at the end, the dwelling houses have gardens out to the pavement; two small flat-bed donkey? carts stand in the road outside the shops; two men are strolling in the street in the foreground and to their right a man stands talking to a child, further up street an apparent family group of four is walking up the street and beyond them three ladies are crossing the road; on the left pavement a man and a woman are strolling towards camera, with an indeterminate number on the pavement behind them; at left of picture a small cart is cut by the edge. Reverse printed in a greyish-green; at centre top "Valentine's Series/ Famous/ Throughout/ the/ World/ Printed in Scotland" with the word "throughout" printed as a banner across two tangential globes showing the continents; "Valentine Dublin" up the left edge; box for stamp at top right, with "2" in top left corner. Unposted and unused. Dealer's pencil marks "Clare" at top left and "[pound sign]8" to left of centre at bottom.
