Postcard, black and white, glossy; portrait style, with white margin around; titled in picture at bottom left "St. Mary's Church, Limerick." with "R.812" at right. View shows the church from the opposite pavement from roughly the position of the new Credit Union building in Athlunkard St; there are several children on the pavements around the church and one with a dog on a lead standing in the road. Reverse printed in brown; at centre top "Valentine's"; below that two tangential globes showing the continents superimposed across a large letter , on banners linking the two globes "Famous/ throughout/ the world"; "Post" to left and "Card" to right of previous; "This is a real photograph" up centre as division; "For Correspondence" to left; to right "For address only"; box for stamp in top right corner, with "37-2" in top right corner of box.; "Printed in/ Great Britain" directly under stamp box. Unposted and unused. Pencil dealer's marks "Lim" and price.
