Print; black on white, hand coloured; "Roman Catholic Cathedral, Limerick". On Page 433 of "The Illustrated London News" May 5th 1860. Shows the cathedral, minus spire, from roughly the end of New Road, inscribed within print "J. Walmsley Sc." Text to either side of the view describes the building. Bottom half of page taken up by an engraving of Henry Moore's "Sleighing Ferns" inscribed at bottom right "W. Thomas Sc.". The reverse of the page is taken up by three columns of print, under the headings "The Society of Painters in Water Colours", "Sleighing Ferns" by H. Moore", "Scientific News" and "Epitome of News- Foreign and Domestic. Dealer's pencil mark at top right "£9".
