Manuscript, articles of agreement, dated 19th July 1828; between Amos Vereker M.D, of Limerick, Thomas Vereker attorney of law, of Limerick and Henry Vereker, of Dublin, regarding two lots of land known as Roxtown or Cloone, held on lease from the Corporation by their late father Amos who died c. February 1804. Written on three of four sides of a folded sheet, includes a coloured plan of the property in question bounded by Old Clare St, Pennywell and the City Wall and three lists of tenants. Lot 1, in blue, to Amos; Lot 2 in red, to Henry; Lot 3 in green to Thomas. Signed and sealed by the three with red wax and witnessed by John Donoghue and George Dartnell; seal repeated three times, crest of a stag's head and "A V"? below. Folded twice so that the blank sheet becomes the outer cover and this is annotated as to contents and also "This is not the deed of partition which takes effect- that is a large Parchment Deed drawn by G. Dartnell. AV" The document has been covered on both sides with clear plastic sticky film.
