Poster, printed. Limerick Steamship Co. Ltd.,'s intended order of sailing for the Lower Shannon Service, January February March 1916 between Limerick, Kildysart, Redgap, Glin, Tarbert and Kilrush. Printed in red and black on white; double red line frame with ornate corners around the text. The poster is headed "The Popular Route to Kilkee" has a depiction of the company flag near the top. Under the headings are tables of sailings, from Limerick on left and Kilrush on right, divided by month and below that a list of fares and the train times Kilkee-Kilrush. The text shows that the poster is also printed on the reverse but this was not accessible at cataloguing because of the frame. "George McKern & Sons, Limited, Printers, Limerick" at bottom. Dark stained wood and plaster frame, with thin board backing held by iron pins. Four small iron screws in bottom of reverse of frame at regularly spaced intervals, and three brass screws at top of frame similarly spaced with hole for a missing fourth; two iron eyes for hanging set into the top of the frame.
