Overall length 46.5. Length of central tine, measured round the curve 33
Rake, iron. For cleaning bog drainage ditches. In the form of a trident with the teeth bent over to an angle of c. 60 degrees to the shaft, with a socket for the shaft. The teeth are rectangular cross-sectioned and the tips taper to a blunt rounded point. The central tine is markedly wider than the other two and is a repair. The socket did not fully enclose the shaft, there is a seam along the under-side, which widens out along the shaft to a gap of c 1cm. The handle end of the socket is corroded and cracked but there is what appears to be a single perforation for attachment to a wooden handle.
