Ceramic souvenir, white porcelain; in the form of a cat rubbing up against an empty knee-length boot. The boot has four oval perforations below the top which is marked with a gold line. Inscribed "From Limerick" just below the perforations on the side with the cat. The inscription is hand painted in a brownish red, and a raised floral motif running around the front of the leg is hand painted in brownish red, green, yellow and blue. The cat, with raised tail, has a blue painted ribbon around its neck and other parts are highlighted in blue grey; the mouth is red, whiskers and nose black, and eyes gold coloured.
