Postcard, b/w, matt. White margin at bottom titled in brown "Bridge Street, Newcastle West. Co. Limerick. View shoes a street, one side of the road lined with donkey carts, while another one is entering the picture in the right foreground; approximately 30 people going about their business; a youth is standing looking into the shop window of McMahon's which stands on the corner of the street. Reverse printed in brown; at centre top "POST CARD" with vertical line beneath; to left "This space may be used for communication for/ inland postage and Foreign Countries, except/ Japan, Spain, and United States." and "Lawrence Publisher, Dublin" up the left margin; to the right "The address only to be written here". Stamp missing from top right corner, having been expertly removed. Circular cancellation, most of which has been removed with the stamp; "NEWC[astle West] all that remains.
