Print, mounted, "Abbey of Corcomroe, County of Clare". View of the inside of the church, taken from the western end of the nave, looking towards the chancel and two side chapels; many recumbent gravestones; in foreground is a diminutive figure, totally out of scale, wearing a bowler type hat [leprechaun or artist?] Printed in black on white; coloured in blue, brown, yellow and green. The print is taken from a book ar periodical, possibly "Dublin Penny Journal". Text both around the print and on reverse; that on the reverse after a poem by "J.C." has a letter/ article addressed to the editor under the heading "Abbey of Corcomroe" which is cut by the mounter of the print, so sender's name removed, but the continuation of which forms the text around the print on the other side. Print attached to mount along top edge, with sellotape. Olive green mount with gold line around print.
