Also shows the railways, with the section Newcastle West towards Tralee (authorised 1880) shown as a dotted line. Black frame around with latitude and longitude grid printed over every 10 mins., and the grid lettered A-H and 1-4. Title and scale inside frame at top left; scale 1.25 inches to 8 miles; under scale "Revised by P.W. Joyce LL.D. M.R.I.A." Centre bottom below frame "George Philip & Son, London & Liverpool"; at right "J. Bartholomew, Edinb." The map has been folded in half and down the crease on the blank reverse, is a paper reinforcement. Attached to mount at top with sellotape. Dark wine red mount with gold line around map.
